Cometh the hour…

As the sun rises on a mildly cold day at Johannesburg, the Mumbai Indians find themselves to be at a critical stage of IPL 2. They need to take every game like a final.

The mood is upbeat. There are butterflies in the belly, but I am sure it would be the same for the opposition. The Mumbai Indians are no pushovers. They have demolished Chennai in the opening game, and are capable of the best. And the opposition knows it well.

The captain looks focused and tense. But when great players look tense, it means they are all set to get into the skin of the opposition.

The unscheduled visit of Mrs. Nita Ambani has touched the boys. She is here to be with the boys when they need a win, and that seems to have touched their sensitivity.

Some may say that it is another game, but it means a lot more to the players, the back room management and the franchisee. Mumbai Indians are up for it, and they will not leave any stone unturned to be on top of their game.

Ala Re...Here is wishing the men in blue the very best!
